The Crochet Reindeer Gnome Pattern is sure to add cheer to your holiday decor and celebrations. Don’t be surprised if he also puts a smile on the face of everyone who sees him!
He looks great with a red or brown nose and you can make his sweater as classic or ugly as you wish.

PATTERN INFORMATION
- Your PDF purchase includes written instructions and helpful photographs to aid in construction.
- The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology.
- The pattern is formatted to have one featured image at the beginning of the pattern for reference with all other full-sized images at the end for easy, optional printing.
SKILLS NEEDED
- The skill level needed is intermediate (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
- The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, standing single crochet, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the ch, half double crochet, back and front post double crochet, working in the front and back loop only, the invisible finish, and the adjustable (magic) ring.
- Some hand embroidery is also used in this project.
MATERIALS NEEDED (more specifics are noted within the pattern)
- yarn in your choice of colors (about 274 yds/251 m of worsted/aran)
- a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
- stitch markers
- tapestry needle
- sewing needle and thread
- stuffing
- pins
- scissors
- pom pom maker or premade pom pom
- bells
- chopstick to help stuff
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
- The Reindeer Gnome measures approximately 11 inches (28 cm) in the sitting position from the hoof to the top of the antler.
- The miniature Crochet Reindeer Gnome in the images was made using the same pattern with a 1.50 mm hook and size 10 cotton crochet thread. It measures approximately 5 inches (13 cm) from the hoof to the top of the antler.
