A cute reindeer hand puppet pattern, perfect to make for children’s creative play and story telling. The face of Mr Reindeer really comes to life in your hands! The puppet fits both adult and children’s hands.

The finished puppet is approximately 11 inches in length, although this may vary depending on tension and yarns used.

This pattern uses a 5mm hook and dk yarn (equivalent to light worsted weight for the US). US crochet terminology is used for this pattern.

I use Sirdar Hayfield Bonus; 1 50g skein of Walnut for main body and ears (Colour A), 1 25g skein of chocolate for the antlers (Colour B) a small amount of white yarn for eyes and red yarn for nose & tongue.

Other materials needed;

5mm hook
small amount of toy stuffing for eyes.
toy safety eyes 8mm (or embroidery can be used as an alternative).
tapestry needle.
