Materials needed:

• Color A yarn: 150 gr./ 525mt ( 3 balls of navy blue color)
• Color B yarn : 88 gr. / 127mt ( 1 and a half ball of grey)
• Crochet hook: 3 mm for the body of the hat and 2.5 mm crochet hook for the ribbing.
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Pompom ( Faux fur pom)

The finished size for my beanie is

●The hat is 9 inches in weight and 9 inches high ( without the pompom) but depending on your yarn, hook size and personal gouge you can make a smaller or bigger one
● The scarf is 48 inches in height and 7 inches wide.

Abbreviations (US terms)

SC – Single crochet ( single crochet back loop.)
DC – Double crochet ( double crochet front loop 2 rows below)
CH – chain stitch
SSt- slip stitch switching the other color ( make a half slip stitch finishing it by grabbing color A or color B)
Fch- this is the foundation chain and together with the first round of SC will result in the first round for this pattern.
BS- border stitch is a single crochet worked in both loop, first and last stitch of the row.
2DCSS – 2 double crochet worked in both loops in the same stitch below.
1DCBL- 1 double crochet worked in both loops in the stitch below.
CH3 - worked as the first DCBL of the row.
