This shawl, designed for the 2023 Yarn Shop Valentine Progressive Party, is meant to encourage practicing self care in the form of meditative stitching, and indulging in the renewal that comes with a seasonal transition.

Yarn: Aster Fiber Company Rocko DK, 100% British BFL (246 yds/100g) in 3 contrasting colors, one skein each.
You can also use Fingering Weight yarn held together to create a DK weight and will still only need 3 skeins in contrasting colors.

My sample uses Calendula Root, Kyanite, and Skullcap, colors I dyed exclusively for the mini crawl. This event is being hosted by three southwestern Virginia shops: New River Art & Fiber in Blacksburg, The Knittin’ Coop in Salem, and Wool Workshop in Roanoke from 2/17-2/18. If you are interested in getting the exact colors you will need to order each color from each shop.
