This is a soft textured crochet blanket, where the alternate rows worked into the back loop create a relaxed rib effect. Worked in a double knit acrylic yarn with a slightly bigger hook than normal you get a blanket with a soft and drapey feel and the rows of crossed treble stitches worked in a contrasting colour provide a hint of something special.

Great for a confident beginner.
Easy to adapt for size.
Saskia Dk is used in the pattern but any DK yarn you prefer will work.
Also, Aran and Chunky could be used, you will however, need to make sure you have more yarn than what’s stated in the pattern if you use a different weight yarn.
