Relocation Collaboration
This collaboration was started in the midst of a big decision in my life: starting a new job and moving to Northern Colorado. I cast on this shawl in New Jersey, as I finished up the last days on my old jobs, packing, and tying up loose ends before my move. I bound off this shawl in Northern Colorado, as the new Assistant Editor in knitting at Interweave Press.
This shawl is worked from the top down, as a trapezoid. When you are ready to work the cable section, you will do a little calculation to find out where in the pattern you will start. Don’t worry! This is easy math. The pattern explains the equation.
Marianated Yarn has the most luscious gradient sets. This pattern was designed around her yarn and I suggest treating yourself to one of her expertly dyed yarn sets.
Relocation Collaboration was knit in the gradient set “Rock Quarry” and the full skein “Forest through the Trees”.
