Elegant and soft lacy scarf designed for our amazing grandmothers. The wrong side rows are mostly purled to speed up knitting. Herringbone lace portions are repeated on each side of a panel of lace trees to prevent curling. This piece lays nice and flat. This scarf works wonderfully to dress up your everyday outfit or to wear for a special occasion.

Pattern written with two different border options so you can choose the border instructions you prefer and add beads if you choose. Has both charted and written directions.

This pattern is written for a 8” wide X 58” Long scarf. This can be lengthened by adding more pattern repeats.
