Using various hook sizes of your choice, the pattern demonstrates how to make different sized poppies.

Using hook size 2.5mm for the little soldier keyrings

Using both hook sizes 2.5mm and 3.5mm to make the spitfire plane.

Gauge is not particularly important in these patterns, only to keep your tension tight to prevent stuffing poking through your stitches on the little soldier and spitfire plane.
