Ren Faire Doll Outfit
I designed this Renaissance era blouse and skirt set for Cinzia, a porcelain doll my mom bought at Ren Faire around 20 years ago. Cinzia is handmade, but compared to standard, mass-produced dolls, I’d say she’s around the size of a Groovy Girl. As far as the outfit goes, it seems like a peasant style, although most outfits like this which I’ve seen include a vest or corset over the blouse. So far I have designed neither of those, but I am considering adding a lace-up vest to the ensemble.
Finished Measurements:
Blouse circumference: 9”
Blouse length: approximately 4”
Sleeve length: 5”
Skirt circumference: 10½”
If these measurements will not fit for your doll, feel free to play around with the yarn weight and needle size until you get a gauge that will work.
