Rena Washcloth
A free version is also available.
This is a paid, ad-free PDF of a pattern available for free on my blog. It can be found here.
• DESCRIPTION: This washcloth is called the Rena washcloth because I am naming the stitch pattern after my grandmother. She loved to crochet in the past and I think she will enjoy the texture of this stitch. It produces a dense, bumpy texture perfect for cleaning!
The Rena Washcloth is the ninth in my Washcloth Collection.
Every other Saturday in 2021, I will release a washcloth pattern. Some will be lacy and light and some will be sturdy and dense. The first will typically, but not always, be free. The second will usually be paid.
At the end of the year, there will be an e-book for sale that contains all the patterns, plus 3 bonus patterns.
By the end of the year you will have a lovely collection of washcloths and you will probably have learned some new stitches!
• GAUGE & SIZING: Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project. For reference, my gauge is 10 bumps and 14 rows per 4”.
Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a washcloth that is roughly 8 inches by 8 inches.
