I’ve suggested two yarns which I particularly enjoy using for beanies and other garments. But you can use any DK (8ply) yarn.

The yarn used in the pictures I’ve used to promote this pattern is Rowan Alpaca Soft DK Superfine Merino / Alpaca 50gm. You will require 2 x 50gm balls

You will need circular needles 3mm & 3.5mm and a set of 5 3.5mm double pointed needles. Markers are also helpful to keep your place as you move around the circular needle
