Renewal is a triangle shaped shawl that uses V-stitch increases. I’ve added bean stitches and front post double crochet stitches to add texture. And a simple (yet lovely) lace pattern that is only a 2 row repeat and easy to memorize.

I used only 1 skein of Mandala for this design. (I barely had enough left when I made the second shawl, so your mileage may vary based on how tight and/or loose you crochet.)

There are no charts for this design as of yet. Sorry about that. I had issues with some charting software I tried. If there is enough interest in charts, I will work to make that happen and will update the pattern when and if I add the charts.

There are photo tutorials in the pattern showing how to do the magic ring, the bean stitch, and the lace pattern stitches.

I have made 4 of these shawls to double check my instructions so I’m hoping I caught all the mistakes! The instructions are written stitch by stitch and I have included stitch counts as well. (Once the lace pattern starts, I did not add a stitch count.)
