Renewed Dickey
Ahh… the days of the “dickey” are back! We used to wear these in high school under a shirt or blouse. Looked kind of like you had a turtle neck sweater on underneath your blouse! It was used to keep the neck warm. Works well with coats that do not button up to the top, this extra protection of the dickey will keep you from the drafts! Very fast, easy and fun to knit, so you can knit up lots of colors! Uses worsted weight yarns, knitting needles, US #9. Also needed, a circular, 16” needle, # 9 for top neck band or turtleneck styles. But, don’t let this fool you; it is still very easy to knit!
