This hat is an invitation to rest and relax. It is a quick yet interesting project featuring beautiful texture, lace and cables.
The sample was made in dLana Merina Autoctona, a 100% natural merino yarn which gives the hat a lot of warmth while highlighting the texture with its single ply. If you substitute for another yarn, I recommend a round yarn with a good stitch definition.
The hat is available in four sizes to fit a wide range of heads, the sample is shown in size 18.75’’ / 47.5 cm.

YARN dLana* 100% Lana Merina Autoctona (Aran: 100% Merino Wool; 137 yards (125 m) / 50 grams): 1 skein
The approximate yardage to knit the hat for each size is 67, 83, 100, 117 yards / 61, 76, 91, 107 m.
To substitute, look for a round yarn with a good stitch definition. The easiest way to substitute is to choose a yarn with a similar yardage per skein. Make sure that you check your gauge so it matches. If it doesn’t or if you want to do the hat in a different yarn weight, you will need to adjust by choosing a different size or even add pattern repeats, make sure that you are confident enough in doing these modifications before you get started.

NEEDLES US 6 / 4 mm circulars with a 16’’ / 40 cm cable or longer for magic loop or double pointed needles
NOTIONS Yarn needle, stitch marker, cable needle

GAUGE 10 cm / 4’’ = 17 sts x 26 rounds in pattern in the round, blocked
As an indication, the stockinette stitch gauge that I achieved with this yarn is the exact same.

Le prototype est réalisé en dLana Merina Autoctona, une laine mérinos naturelle qui lui donne beaucoup de chaleur tout en mettant en valeur le point grâce à sa qualité 1 brin.
Le bonnet est disponible en quatre tailles pour s’adapter à un grand nombre de tours de tête.

Le métrage approximatif pour tricoter chaque taille est de 67, 83, 100, 117 yards / 61, 76, 91, 107 m.
Si vous utilisez un autre fil, cherchez une laine bien ronde avec une bonne définition de point.
La manière la plus simple pour substituer est de trouver un fil avec approximativement le même métrage par pelote. Assurez-vous que votre échantillon correspond également à celui donné plus bas. Si votre échantillon est différent ou si vous décidez d’utiliser une laine de grosseur différente pour tricoter votre bonnet, vous devrez ajuster en choisissant une taille différente voir
en ajoutant des répétitions du motif donc assurez-vous que vous êtes capable de vous lancer dans ces modifications avant de démarrer.
