My helicopter is back! This time in a more adult way.
And of course there is a story behind it. ;-)

Here it is: When I was in Frankfurt for the pain therapie my room neighbour Heike told me that her son is a great fan of the hospital rescue helicopter (Christopher I and II).
Her husband and she brought and gifted me great German bread and strawberries, which helped me to survive the hospital evening food. ;-)

So the idea of making a hat for her boy in a more big boy’s way was born and I could not get it out of my head.
Driven by delight and joy I managed to knit it and sent it to her per mail.
She phoned me and told me how great it is and that he loves it.

So I made a whole family happy with it. Up to now ;-)
If you love it, too, I can make even more people happy with it.

So here it is.
The beanie is single colored with the impressive band of helicopters on it. It has a three color ribbing, followed by a little peerie pattern matching the rescue helicopters.

The top is nicely shaped and single colored.
As there are at most two colors in one round and the color changes are few, most of the beanie is one colored, especially the top decreases, it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.

And so much fun!
And for me it’s ergo fun, too ;-)

For the little ones there is also a cute helicopter beanie.

zu dieser Rettungshubschrauber Mütze gibt es folgende Geschichte.
Ihr kennt mich ja, keine Mütze ohne Geschichte ;-)

Also.. ich war ja dieses Jahr in Frankfurt zur Schmerztherapie. Meine Zimmergenossin Heike und ihr Mann haben mich mit Bauernbrot und Erdbeeren versorgt. Sonst hätt ich das Abendessen im Krankenhaus nicht gepackt. Mittagessen und Frühstück war okay. Aber gscheites Brot hab ich so vermisst. Und da haben sie mir einfach welches mitgebracht :)

Ihr Sohn ist ein Fan vom Rettungshubschrauber des Krankenhauses (Christopher I und II).

Und schwupps war die Idee da, eine Mütze für ihn mit dem Hubschrauber drauf als kleines Dankeschön zu machen.
Freude ist ein riesiger Motivator. Ich hab es geschafft sie selber zu stricken. War zäh. Und bin auch über mich erstaunt. Es geht. Mit genug Motivation geht alles…

Ich hab sie schon verschickt und natürlich hat Heike dann angerufen und sich bedankt. Er freut sich riesig drüber.

Und so sieht sie aus.
Dreifarbiger Bund, mit der Hubschrauberbordüre und einem kleinen Rahmenmuster aussen rum.
Ansonsten ist die Mütze einfarbig.

Mit maximal 2 Farben pro Runde , ist die Mütze auch für Mehrfarbenstrickanfänger geeignet.

So.. eine Familie hab ich mit der Mütze schon glücklich gemacht. Vielleilcht werden es ja noch mehr ;-)

Sowas ist für mich übrigens die schönste Ergo ;-)

Das Muster ist derzeit nur in Englisch erhältlich. Möchtet Ihr es auf Deutsch, kann ich es gerne übersetzen. Schickt mir dann einfach eine Nachricht.

Für kleinere Köpfe gibt es auch eine Hubschraubermütze. Etwas niedlicher.
