Resilience: an individual’s ability to regain normal functioning after having undergone an alteration in their environment.
In March, when we were confined, I needed a project capable of making me think of something other than this virus which has changed the lives of all of us. So I wanted to create a shawl that looks like me: the fancy stitches that I like in my favorite colors.
RESILIENCE is a shawl that combines two-tone fishermen’s ribs, mosaic stitch and lace, with an original construction.

SIZE : 63’’ width and 21’’ length, after blocking.

GAUGE : 18 stitches and 44 rows = 4’’ in fishermen’s ribs, with needles US 6.

En mars, lorsque nous avons été confinés, il me fallait un projet capable de me faire penser à autre chose que ce virus qui a bouleversé notre vie à tous. J’ai donc voulu créé un châle qui me ressemble : les points fantaisie que j’aime dans mes couleurs préférées.
RESILIENCE est un châle qui allie côtes anglaises bicolores, point mosaïque et dentelle, avec une construction originale.

DIMENSIONS : 160 cm en largeur et 55 cm en longueur, après blocage.

ÉCHANTILLON : 10 cm de côtes anglaises après blocage, aig 4 mm = 18 mailles et 44 rangs.
