Resolution is an original lace design worked in one piece, lengthwise, with asymmetrical bottom edgings and self-forming scallops.

The lace pattern can be knit in any weight of yarn, in any gauge, and adapted to any size.
Patterning occurs on RS rows, with WS rows being mostly “rest” rows.

Directions in the pdf are both charted and written, with instructions given to assist in modifications.

Finished Measurements: 20“ wide x 80“ long, after blocking

Gauge: 2 full repeats of lace pattern (16sts x 24rows) = 4“/10cm blocked

Materials used for laceweight sample:
100g/1090yards of Tactile Fiber Arts Studio Arcata Lace
(70g/763 yards in Colorway: Mallard, were used)
Size US 8/5mm needles for casting on and binding off.

Blocking supplies

If modifying for different yarn/needle size, work 2 full pattern repeats to measure gauge. You’ll be able to use this to decide how many stitches to cast on for width, and how many repeats you’ll need to knit to achieve your desired length: scarf, shawl, stole, wrap, or even blanket-sized!

More yarn will be required if additional repeats are worked.

The shawl can be bound off after the end of any 12 row repeat.

Resolution is the sequel to Mercury In Retrograde.
