Ret Nem is a relaxed sweater with dropped shoulders – a timeless and very comfortable knitwear staple. The use of garter stitch gives it a relaxed, contemporary vibe.
It is a lightweight all-year-round sweater, worked flat and top down. The dropped shoulders are worked with short-row shaping and the Front and Back are worked separately until desired length. Stitches for the long sleeves are picked up along the edges of the upper Front and Back and also worked top-down, flat and sewn together afterward.

Sizes XXS (XS, S, M) (L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
Make sure to choose a size that allows for the dropped shoulders and upper body to have some ease. If you choose a size with less ease at body, a larger size for the sleeve with more upper arm circumference can be chosen to avoid the fabric sticking/creating bulks at the underarms.

3 (4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Allora by Lana Grossa, light fingering, 76% cotton, 14% merino, 10% alpaca, 300m/328yd per 50g/1.76oz.
Or 870 (980, 1040, 1180) (1240, 1300, 1440, 1600) m/ 951 (1080, 1140, 1280) (1360, 1420,1580, 1740) yd of a similar yarn.

Materials
3.5mm/US 4, 80cm/32” circular needle for body and sleeves.
3.0mm/US 21⁄2, 80cm/32” circular needle for working hem and edges of sleeves. Waste yarn/stitch holders, stitch markers and darning needle.

Gauge
22 sts x 38 rows over 10cm x 10cm/4” x 4” with 3.5mm/US 4 in garter stitch after wet blocking.
