Yarn Lana Grossa Ecopuno (72% cotton, 17% Merino wool, 11% baby alpaca; 235 yd 215 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #64 Sand (MC), 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) balls; #16 Black (CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls. Yarn distributed by The Trendsetter Yarn Group.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): straight. Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge 21 sts and 30 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles.

• This tee is worked back and forth in pieces from the bottom up and seamed.

• The stripes are worked using the intarsia method. Each piece is worked with four balls of yarn at the same time (one MC and one CC for each side), with a separate stripe pattern for the left and right side. Twist the yarns at the center of the piece (even if the color does not change).
