“Retreat” is worked top-down with twisted ribs and cable pattern. You can easily adjust the length and the circumference of your knitting to wear them as arm warmers, if you like. This pattern is designed to be knitted with just one skein. If you would like to knit your project larger than suggested, please prepare more yarn.

Type A
DK weight yarn, 230 m (252 yards), 1 skein

Sample shown in La Bien Aimée MERINO DK 230 m ( 252 yards ) /115 g, 100 % Superwash Merino, 1 skein

Type B
Fingering weight yarn in 2 colorways, held double throughout, 537 m ( 587 yards ) in total.

Sample shown in Kusumike Sock85, 400 m ( 437 yards ) /100 g, 85% Superwash Merino 15% Nylon, 2skeins.
Colors: Candy no Tsutsumigami and Mori no Iriguchi

< Needles >
1×US 2.5 (3 mm) 60 cm circular needles ( or size to obtain gauge ) for magic loop method

< Gauge >
12 sts &16 rows = 5 cm ( 2 inch ) in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

< Size >
Length: 30 cm
Circumference at cable pattern: 20 cm ( unstretched )
Calf circumference of model : 30 cm

< Notion >
Tapestry needle, crochet hook ( 3 mm ), stitch marker, waste yarn ( using cast on )
Optional: cable needle

“Retreat”はTop Downでねじり目の一目ゴム編み、ケーブル模様、もう一度ねじりの目の一目ゴム編みの順に編んでいく、1かせプロジェクトです。長さ、周囲ともに簡単に調整ができますが、指定のサイズよりも大きくしたい場合は２かせご用意いただくことをお勧めします。また、お好みでアームウォーマーとしてもお使いください。
