Retro
The Retro scarf is a real eye catcher. Each row is worked with 2 colours and both sides are attractive. The Frullesk technique is combined with another new stitch (Double Embrace) that creates slightly puffed up hexagons. The back of the scarf show purls with clear colour changes and no ‘colour bumps’. In the Retro-pattern (8 pages) every technique used, is explained step by step with photos, drawings and text. This includes the Frullesk technique, the cast-on, the Double Embrace, edges & bind-off. It’s a nice challenge and certainly not boring.
Yarn
4 skeins of a main colour are combined with 2 x 2 contrast colours, all in the Felted Tweed of Rowan.
