A traditional English tea cozy that is easy to make and looks great.
It is a 1950’s style and is a retro pattern sure to get you compliments whenever you use it.

• DESCRIPTION
The tea cozy is easy to make, with beginner knitters in mind.
Using knit and purl stitches you will create a simple design.
The tea cozy will be perfect to use for afternoon tea or to give as a gift.
Yarn
2 x Debbie Bliss Rialto DK color - Apple 100g - Yarn A
1 x 50g Debbie Bliss Rialto DK color - Ecru 50g - Yarn B
(NB; any DK/Light Worsted/10 Ply yarn could be substituted)
For the flower decoration:
Debbie Bliss Rialto DK color - Rose (dark pink) Less than 50g - Yarn A
Debbie Bliss Rialto DK color - Vintage Pink (light pink) Less than 50g - Yarn B
2 x buttons of your choice
Needles
Pair of 4mm (US 6) knitting needles
1 pair 3 1/4 mm (US 4) needles (for the flower decoration)
• SKILLS
Level – Easy
This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increases, and decreases to shape.
• SIZING
The cozy will fit over a teapot that measures 18″ circumference.
