Retro 1950s Style Throw
Deceptively simple. Spectacular results!
Diners, drive-ins, poodle skirts, saddle shoes and Swanson TV dinners! Gas was $.19 a gallon and the average income was $4,100 a year. Oh the good old days!
Classic colors of cherry red, rosy cheeks pink, turquoise and bright ivory define the ‘50’s. Simple stripes and a pom pom border bring the decade to today’s home.
You only need to know two stitches, single crochet and double crochet.
The pom pom border adds a bit of whimsy and I’ve added some detailed photos for you.
Super easy one row pattern repeat perfect for the beginner and yet, still satisfying for the experienced crocheter.
