Der “Retro Cowl” wird aus DK Garn und in einem Hebemaschenmuster gestrickt, und ist daher ein warmes und schnelles Projekt für die kalte Jahreszeit. Das doppelte Bündchen mit Kordelzug ist nicht nur ein optisches Highlight, es verleiht dem Cowl auch den richtigen Sitz.

Material und Größenangaben

Garn: F1 lila: West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK, 100% British Wool, 225m/100g, Verbrauch: ca. 60g
F2 grün: West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK, 100% British Wool, 225m/100g, Verbrauch: ca. 40g
F3 orange: Fiete Garn, 75% Wolle, 25% Polyamid, 400m/100g (das Garn habe ich doppelt gehalten), Verbrauch: ca. 40g
Du kannst natürlich auch jedes vergleichbare Garn benutzen.

Nadeln: der “Retro Cowl” ist mit 4mm Rundstricknadel (Magic Loop) gestrickt. Wähle für dich die Nadelstärke, mit der du die
angegebene Maschenprobe erzielst.
Du benötigst am Ende eine weitere Rundstricknadel, um das obere Bündchen zusammen zu stricken. Die 2. Rundstricknadel sollte ungefähr eine Nadelstärke kleiner als deine Hauptnadel sein.

Maschenprobe: 10cm = 21M glatt rechts gestrickt, nach dem
Waschen

Sonstiges: 1 Rundenmarkierer, Vernähnadel, Häkelnadel für die
Umrandung der Kordel-Löcher, diese sollte ca. 1 Nadelstärke kleiner als deine Rundstricknadel

Größe: ca. 65cm Umfang

The “Retro Cowl” is knitted in DK in a slip stitch pattern and is therefore a warm and quick project for the cold season. The double cuff with drawcord is not only a visual highlight, it also gives the cowl the right fit.

Yarn: C1 purple: West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK, 100% British Wool, 246yd/225m per 100g, usage: 60g
C2 green: West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece DK, 100% British Wool, 246yd/225m per 100g, usage: 40g
C3 orange: Fiete Garn 75% wool, 25% polyamid, 437yd/400m per 100g (I held two strands together), usage: 40g
You can use any similar yarn.

Needle size: The “Retro Cowl” is knitted with a 5US/4mm circular
needle (Magic Loop). You choose the needle size according to the gauge. You will need another circular needle to knit the top cuff together. The 2. needle should be about one needle size smaller than your main needle.

Gauge: 4“/10cm = 21sts in stockinette stitch after washing and drying

You need: 1 round marker, tapestry needle, crochet hook for the
border of the cord holes, this should be approx. 1 needle size smaller than your circular knitting needle.

Size: about 26”/65cm circumference
