Inspired by my love of retro pattern design, this set is a modern interpretation of vintage prints, perfect for a sweet blanket or cushion cover, for example. This pattern includes two variations of the same design, one square and one hexagon, to suit your needs whatever your next project might be!

The pattern:
The blocks are all worked in the round and always from the front, using a range of basic stitches. The download includes patterns for the square, the hexagon, and the matching half hexagon motif, with step by step photos and detailed written instructions for each.

The pattern is written in UK terminology, with a conversion chart at the top of the pattern.

Level of difficulty:
Beginner: there’s nothing particularly difficult here.

4mm crochet hook (US G/6)
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Square: 10.5cm x 10.5cm
Hexagon: 10.5cm x 11.5cm
Half hexagon: 11.5cm x 5.5cm
