Retro Dream socks
A full colourwork sock with bands of pattern around the leg and the toe - these socks literally kept me awake at night until I pinned them down in knitted form! They feature several fun-to-knit colourwork patterns, ranging from the easily memorised to the main section on the leg which keeps you wanting to knit ‘just one more round’ to see how it pans out. These guys are named ‘retro’ because there’s a sense of argyle here, a hint of granddad socks in the foot, vaguely 80s-style geometric shapes around the leg… and yet it’s also tongue in cheek ‘cos they still look rocking. And a change in colour makes a WORLD of difference.
