I designed this pattern for a friend who recently underwent chemotherapy and lost her hair. She was thrilled with it and her 5 year old daughter wanted one too, so I did one for her in DK (light worsted) yarn.

I have been selling the pattern in my shop for several months now and it has proved very popular with everyone.

The front and back post treble stitches give a stretchy effect to the side of the hat and the crown is smooth. The side is gathered under the flower to give the retro look and character.
