This is my original knitting pattern for a classic ray gun softie! It’s great fun for sci-fi lovers as well as being a safe toy for kids who like to play rough. When knitted with worsted weight yarn and size 6 needles, it’s about 7 inches long and 6 inches tall. It’s an intermediate level pattern, with lots of construction and detail work. You’ll need to know how to knit in the round on double pointed needles, pick up stitches and seam using mattress stitch and Kitchener stitch.
