Retro Ribbon top
DESCRIPTION
Retro Ribbon top is a drop shoulder sweater that is worked top down and in the round.
This sweater is full of fun, textured stripes with an easy fit and some fun pops of color can be added at the trim edges.
The sweater starts at the top of front shoulder seam as you shape the neck and shoulders with short rows. The shoulder cast on stitches are then pick up to work the back shoulders and neck. Once both the front and back are done, they are joined at the bottom of the armhole to be worked in the round until your desired body length.
The sleeve stitches are picked up to be worked in the round with the same textured stitch as the body.
The neck trim is also picked up to be worked in the round.
A pop of contrast color yarn can be added to the bind offs at the neck, cuff and hem trims as well as the shoulder cast on.
