The Retro Rosie Headband is a super fun and fast knit! I have it knit up in multiple colors because it has quickly become one of my go to wardrobe staple pieces. I’ve found that not only is it perfect thing to wear around the house when you want to feel put together and still be comfortable but it is also perfect to wear out and around town to keep the wind off your ears. This headband is a winner and I hope you love it as much as I do!!

Sizing:
Child (Adult), 1 (2)
Size 1- To fit a head circumference of 17- 20” / 43- 51 cm.
Size 2- To fit a head circumference of 21- 23”/ 53.5- 61 cm.
Sample shown on a 23”/ 58.5 cm adult head.

Yarn Requirements:
Fingering weight held double
Note: You can substitute worsted weight yarn for the doubled fingering weight yarn
Size 1- Striped version: 70 y/ 15 g each of MC and CC
Solid version: 140 y/ 30 g of MC
Size 2- Striped version: 92 y/ 20 g each of Main Color (MC) and Contrast Color (CC)
Solid version: 184 y/ 40 g Main Color (MC)

Gauge
22 sts / 30 rows over 4”/ 10 cm knit in the round, after blocking.

Suggested Yarn:
For striped headband: two 50 g skeins. For solid: one 100g skeins.
