Aus dem in vielen Varianten bekannten Zickzackmotiv habe ich mir einen Retro Seventies Schal ausgedacht.
In den typischen Farben von damals, nämlich orange, gelb und grün erinnert er an lustige Feten mit Schlagermusik zum Thema Retro, an die bunten Seventies und ein wenig auch an die Zeit der Hippies. In seiner Länge lässt er sich gut mehrmals um den Hals wickeln oder sich als Schlaufe umlegen. Das klassische Zickzackmuster kann man mit oder ohne Lochreihen stricken, und unzähliche Varianten sind möglich. Wenn man beim Thema Retro und Seventies bleiben möchte, passt der Schal wunderbar zur Cordjacke, zum Jeansmantel oder zur Schlaghose mit Plateauschuhen. Das Muster ist für einen Knäuel Sockenwolle geschrieben und kann leicht auf jede andere Garnstärke und –menge umgerechnet werden.
Der Schal ist leicht zu stricken, das Muster geht bald wie von selbst von der Nadel und auch Anfänger werden schnell einen Schal fertig haben!
Based on the many variations of the chevron pattern, I designed a Retro Seventies scarf.
In the typical seventies’s colors orange, yellow and green it reminds of funny parties with the retro theme, the colorful seventies and a little bit of the hippie times, tool Its length enables it to be worn casually wrapped several times around your neck or pulled through itself. The classic chevron pattern ca be knit with or without the eyelets and countless variations are possible. If you like to stick to the retro and seventies fashion, wear the scarf matched with a Jeans coat or with bell bottom pants and platform sole boots. The pattern is designed based on one ball of 4-ply sock yarn but can easily be converted to every other gauge and amount of your favorite yarn.
The scarf is easy to knit, the pattern is easy to learn thus also beginners will quickly knit up their first scarf!
