I enjoyed designing and making this retro style scarf very much! It reminded me of those granny square blankets in bright colors and joined together using black yarn, as often seen in the 1960’s to 1980’s.
This square begins with a circle, and in round 5 we are making it into a square. At the same time, we join as you go and turn those lovely, bright circles into a scarf!
First we make 32 circles (round 1 – 4). In round 5, we are using black to join the circles.
15-pages pattern, with written instructions, diagrams and a photo tutorial of the join as you go method.
