Retro Tank Top
Inspired by a vintage crochet tank top I found at a thrift store years ago, I set out to make a pattern for one of my own! This top is sexy and lacy, with a star pattern on the front and back. Looks great worn over a regular tank top, a long sleeve shirt, a turtleneck, or, if you’re very daring, a bra or bikini top…
This tank top is crochet with about 3 skeins of any worsted weight yarn in 3 different colors. I used an assortment of acrylic Red Heart, TLC, and Caron brand yarn.
Different sizes are made by using a Size J crochet hook for small, Size K crochet hook for medium, and Size N for large. The small shown here (purple, blue, and brown) fits a bust up to about 30”/76cm, or about US size 0-2, and would also be great for a child. The large shown here (orange, cream, and brown) fits a bust up to 42-44”/108cm. These tops have a LOT of stretch!
Yes! You can sell what you make with this pattern!
