Retro Tweed Jacket
Interweave SKU: EP0838
Pattern Description from Interweave Online Store:
In developing the tweedy stitch pattern for this softly tailored jacket, the designer found that she liked the more pronounced texture of what she had originally determined as the reverse side of the fabric, so she switched right and wrong sides. She further pushed the dimensional feel by adding a crocheted trim reminiscent of a Chanel suit. To mimic a woven jacket, she’s added other dressmaker details-subtle waist shaping, cuff emphasis, and a smart collar. Large wooden buttons provide a strong accent and are tied on with narrow crocheted cord for easy removal at cleaning time.
