This was originally published as the July pattern for the 2013 Twisted Sock Club.

I taught myself to knit during my first year at college, often with the help of my pal Stephania who lived in the next dorm room over. We’d sit in the lounge after dinner and knit - her busting out cables, me making my first attempts at garter stitch.

After college, she moved East and I moved West, and we lost touch. Unknown to each other, knitting took over each of our lives. I started designing and teaching and writing, Stephania started a yarn company, and we both wound up here in Oregon. When Twisted asked me to contribute to their Sock Club, I was paired with Three Fates Yarn – run by my old pal, Stephania! We were back together again after all these years. This reunion was good luck and great fun – I hope the socks are the same for you!

Size/Finished measurements – Small Large to fit foot circumference 6-8” 7.25-9.75” and foot length 9.5 10.25” or knit to fit. Measured after blocking.
