Revär Socks
Do you have sock yarn scraps from your favorite colourways, or beautiful mini skeins laying around at home, or maybe both? Put them together in a fun striped sock with a little purl stitch ridge that will melt the colours together. One variegated, one speckled and one solid is perfect, but pick whatever mix you like.
The pattern includes 4 sizes, from Women’s small and Mens’s XS to Women’s XL and Men’s Large. Its a flexible pattern, and it includes instructions for alteration to fit a wide range of foot lengths. Do not worry about weaving in lots of ends, you will have two ends per colour, one from cast on, one from bind off, and none in between. This pattern is a bit about yarn management and the stripes will turn out jogless thanks to the purl ridges. A great first step into colour work, as you get used to managing several strands of yarn, but on an easy level.
For a Women’s M size I used 70 grams of the main colour, and 20 grams of 2 contrast colours.
My sample on the top pictures where knitted out of Wollmeise Twin and Baerenwolle Baerfoot sock.
My very warm thank you to my testers, Jeanamaria kudepihha
