This wavy design is all about short rows combined with increases and decreases. Inspired by the Quake Scarf and Shawl, this graphic shawl evolves into smooth squiggles with fuzzy eyelet contrast stripes. Begin with an I-cord tail to frame the long shape and knit as many squiggles as you like until binding off. Use a fluffy contrast color like La Bien Aimée’s suri alpaca yarn Kumo. The resulting fabric flows beautifully with this textural blend of wool and suri alpaca yarns.
