Reverence
I named this sumptuous shawl “Reverence” because it reminds me of nature. It is softly elegant and quietly dignified. Nothing pretentious going on here, but it is beautiful in its majestic simplicity. It’s knitted in an unassuming color of soft as a kitten fingering weight “Tynd”. I absolutely love the way it’s flowy and lovely!
I employed deep lace at the bottom for sophistication and a touch of lace is echoed at the top edge. The shaping is short rows with full directions included. The lace is charted and for those who don’t wish to use charts, it is also written out.
You will need to know or learn to co (I used long-tail co), k, p, k2tog, ssk, yo, s2kpo, w&t, and bo. Complete instructions for these terms are included in the pattern.
This would make the ultimate gift as well as a luxuriously beautiful wedding shawl.
