REVERIE is a comfortable and feminine cardigan between kimono and heartwrap, knitted seamlessly, top-down. You start knitting the yoke for the back then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders and formed with shorts rows. Then, the body (back and front) is worked flat together. You will finish with the sleeves also worked in round using magic-loop or DPN. A waistband is nice to mark the size and can wrap gently.

If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (rib) and 4 mm/US 6 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers.

NOTES: recommended ease : 6 to 10 inches or 15 to 25 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. It is of course possible adapt and knit a size with more or less ease than recommended.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 8.5 inches or 22 cm of positive ease.
The yellow version is presented with an added embroidery on one shoulder (the embroidery pattern is not included).

REVERIE est un gilet confortable et féminin entre kimono et cache-coeur tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. On commence l’empiècement par le dos puis les devants sont relevés sur le haut des épaules formées par des rangs raccourcis. Le corps (dos et devants) est ensuite travaillé ensemble en aller-retour. Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis travaillées en rond. Une ceinture vient marquer joliment la taille et permet de s’envelopper de douceur.

LAINES : Le gilet se tricote avec un mélange de deux fils : un fil de type fingering et un fil de type lace. Environ 825 (905 - 1000) 1140 (1290 - 1430) 1550 (1670 - 1680) 1770 m de fil de chaque fil. Mais il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type DK.
Et environ 90 (95 - 95) 100 (100 - 110) 115 (120 - 125) 130 m de fil de chaque fil pour la ceinture.

MATERIELS : aiguilles suggérées n°3,5 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches), une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente et 4 anneaux marqueurs.

NOTES : Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 15 à 25 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sur possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisée.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 22 cm d’aisance. La version jaune est présentée avec une broderie ajoutée sur un épaule (le modèle de la broderie n’est pas inclue).
La version principale est tricotée en finger crossed et BombX de The Woolly Skein.
La version brodée est tricotée en Sandnes Garn Sunday PetiteKnit et Soft Silk Mohair de Knitting for Olive.
