Reverie is a traditional style Faroese shawl, cast on at the
bottom and worked with gusset and shoulder shaping up
to the neck. With its unique construction, a Faroese shawl is
best knit and worn to be appreciated. Reverie, has a lace border pattern that is mitered on each side of the gusset, giving Reverie a traditional angular shape. The gusset is patterned up to the top. As is also traditional, the lace pattern is in charted form.
