Reverse Pinwheel Blanket
This blanket/cardy is knit from the outside in, starting on a long circular needle and finishing up using magic loop/DPNs.
The pattern gives fairly concise instructions on how to do the math to get an accurate size, and gives instructions for creating a plain version, or a more feminine eyelet version.
The 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 9th photos show the Pinwheel Blanket converted to a Pinwheel cardy by inserting sleeves once 19sts/segment are reached (included within pattern)
This project requires blocking upon completion to open up the eyelets, and gain a little extra size. The finished diameter is approximately 70-80cm, which makes it perfect size for a pram or carseat blanket.
Pattern Re-released on April 10 2009 to inclde instructions on how to convert your Reverse Pinwheel Blanket in a Reverse Pinwheel Cardy. If you have downloaded a copy prior to this, please delete and download the new version.
