Reverse Psychology is a technique involving the advocacy of a belief or behavior that is opposite to the one desired, with the expectation that this approach will encourage the subject of the persuasion to do what actually is desired!

Put simply??? IT’S REVERSIBLE!

This simple-to-knit piece is loaded with ethereal texture and is a delight for wearable neckwear. Because of its abstract shape, the possibilities are endless, for tying and/or draping. Designed on the bias, the detailed stitches travel in various streams of eye-catching interest.

Two stitches begin your knitting journey, and stitch count ranges from this starting point with varying amounts of increases & decreases, with 171 stitches at the most. Basic knowledge of knitting stitches include YO, K2tog, KFB, BO, with beading optional; detailed bead placement is included in the pattern instruction. This crescent abstract shape can be blocked to various length and size, depending on your blocking choice, or doesn’t have to be blocked at all, lending to drape with a bit of Bohemian Pizazz.

The pattern is designed for one Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton 100gr skein, having the texture and design work alongside the color changes of the cotton fiber. Gauge is only important for achieving the desired length and using the complete yarn yardage. Needle size suggestion is shown above, in the yarn and needle detail portion of the pattern page.

Other Fingering yarns are certainly acceptable, suggesting at least 470+ yardage.

There is a bonus of an EXTENDED PATTERN ENDING should you have yarn left for continuation, showing bead placement if desired.

If you choose to ‘bead’ as the pattern shows, suggested amounts for Beads is 670-725 +- for bead count. Suggested size No.6.
