Reverse Stockinette Beret
This simple, reverse stockinette beret is worked in an unusual way – the main body is knitted, then the completed hat is turned inside out to reveal the deep texture of purl stitches before the finishing pompom is attached!
Size
Adult; one size fits all – finished measurement 20 in/50.8 cm circumference x 9 in/22.8 cm high
Materials
- Toft Alpaca Aran Wool (100% alpaca, 115 meters per 100 gram ball); color: Camel; 2 balls
- US 6/4.0 mm 40 cm circular needle
- US 9/5.5 mm 40 cm circular needle
- US 9/5.5 mm double point needles – set of 5
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Blunt needle
- Pompom maker
Gauge
15 sts/20 rounds = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette
