The hat and cowl stitch pattern was inspired by traditional stitch patterns in Bauerliches Stricken Vol 2 by Lisl Fanderl. The textural stitch pattern used in the hat and cowl design creates a reversible geometric fabric.

Cowl: one size, reversible, 22″ circumference, 7.25″ long
Hat circumference at headband:
Small – 16″ (fits 20″ head); Medium – 18″ (fits 22″ head);
Large – 20″ (fits 24″ head)

Special Features of the design:

• Cowl is knit in a stitch pattern that is reversible.
• The hat features a Toasty Triple Layer Headband – two layers of ribbing folded with the outer headband pattern for extra warmth. (see sample of hat laid out in full in left side photos).
• The hat top is worked in ribbing, a Cosy Ribbed Topper, again adding extra warmth against winter winds.
