The scarf (reversible) and handwarmers stitch pattern was inspired by traditional stitch patterns in Bauerliches Stricken Vol 2 by Lisl Fanderl.
The stitch pattern used for the Reversible Bows Scarf and Handwarmers is a geometric knit / purl pattern that looks great on both sides. Photos on left show both sides of the scarf. The handwarmer instructions are given in two sizes, Small (S) and Medium (M). They are designed as a loose fit for the hands with a fitted rib for the wrists. The cuff is worked extra long so it can be tucked into your coat sleeve, or doubled over for extra warmth. For extreme cold days, wear the handwarmers over your gloves or mittens for an extra layer of warmth.
