Reversible Diminutive Cable Stitch Scarf
6 row pattern repeat; you must knit at least 4 inches before you can accurately establish your gauge.
From the pamphlet notes:
“This scarf is unique due to the fact that knitting a cable stitch scarf is a disaster. The scarf will roll onto itself and half the time you will be looking at the back side of the pattern. This cable, which looks equally handsome on either side, is … easy to follow. One precaution -- this pattern will behave like ribbing. Because of that you will need more stitches than you would normally elect to have.”
