I love the way a shawl or collar can drape & fall in folds, but I don’t like seeing the wrong side of the knitting.This cable pattern started life as a scribble on the back of an envelope. I couldn’t find anything similar to my imaginary shawl edging so this was born. It is time consumng to work because there are cables on nearly every row & slipped stitches on every row. The backgroud is worked in purl garter (every row purled).
