This cute, quick and simple crochet pattern to create your own reversible octopus 2 in 1! The Octopus can be easily popped between the two different colours and is very fun to play with.

SIZE: when using similar materials, the Octopus will be:
~ 13” diameter with tentacles
~ 5” diameter of the body
~ 5” high

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Forming a magic circle, single crochet, crocheting in continuous rounds, increasing, invisible decreasing, colour-changing, embroidering on crocheted pieces and sewing pieces together.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
Original yarn: Velvet by Bernat Super Bulky (100% Polyester, 300 g/315 yards) two colors about 45 g/60 yds for each.
Gauge 12.0 sts = 4 inches
Some white red and black yarn for the eyes and mouth.

Alternative yarn: Yarn Art Dolche (100% micro polyester, 100g / 131 yds), Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100% micro polyester, 100g / 131 yds) or any yarn with approx. yardage.
Crochet hook - 6.5 mm (K)
Supplies: scissors, tapestry needle to sew in ends.
