This reversible bag and clutch has a delightful look with yarn overs forming eyelets and carefully placed ridges offsetting them. The sequence of eyelets and ridges vary for each color section--allowing the contrasting color to show through each eyelet when sections are tucked in to form the reversible feature. Side edges are finished off with seed stitches, and both versions are secured with a bobble and clasp loop closure. A strap is added to the bag. The clutch uses the same pattern as the bag, does away with the strap, and is worked with smaller needles and finer yarn. Both are versatile and the possible color variations make for one-of-a-kind treasures.

A set of straight and a pair of double-pointed needles are used (U.S. no. 4 or no. 7).

100% cotton yarn, worsted weight medium or light weight, is suggested depending on the size needles used. Other yarn types are suitable.
