Hello everybody! Halloween is coming closer and closer and this week I am bringing you a most spooky pattern for a reversible ghost! That’s right, this amigurum is an inside-out, reversible, flippable – whatever you want to name it. You might know this guy from teeturtle, which is where I got the idea from back when I originally made this lil guy. This year for my husband’s birthday I made a girl version so our little Ghost-chan would have a girlfriend! Whether you make one or two (or 20?), what colors you use, what facial expressions – this guy is highly customizable! And just imagine how cool it would be if you used glow in the dark yarn?! (I really wanted to do that but couldn’t get ahold of any, sadly). So without further talking, let’s head right into the making of these cuties!

Materials
To make the ghost you will need:
– A 2.5mm crochet hook
– yarn in your prefered 2 colors plus yarn for the facial features
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make the ghost using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, the ghost should be about 10-15cm tall.

Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Chaining
– Single crochet (sc)
– Half double crochet (hdc)
– Double crochet (dc)
– Trebble crochet (tc; optional)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
